By Megan Theimer, Content Coordinator, CSA

CSA is in the process of developing a series of 1 hour micro-training courses that provide potential CPE credits. These courses provide a high-level primer on some of the most critical cloud security topics. Based on research by CSA’s expert working groups, they build upon your cybersecurity knowledge and introduce you to key aspects of cloud security that you may not be as familiar with. So far, we’ve released the Cloud Key Management Foundations course and the Microservices & Containers Fundamentals course. Courses that are in development include Top Threats to Cloud Computing and DevSecOps.

Help Us Decide on Future Curriculum

We are reaching out to the community with a short 2 question survey to gauge your interest in potential course topics. The survey asks you to rank potential topics by your level of interest and then list any other cloud-specific topics that you think are in need of more educational material. Potential topics include:

  • Threat Modeling
  • STAR 101
  • Cloud 101
  • Cloud for C-Suite Professionals
  • Serverless
  • Cryptocurrency
  • Standards for Cloud
  • Blockchain Threats
  • Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery in the Cloud
  • Cloud Incident Response Framework

We’d love to hear from you about what cloud security education is currently lacking. What short training content would be most beneficial to you and your team? Let us know by filling out the quick survey!
