CSA Seeks Input For Open Peer Review: Big Data Taxonomy

CSA Seeks Input For Open Peer Review: Big Data Taxonomy

The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Big Data Working Group (BDWG) would like to invite you to review and comment on a preliminary draft of the "Big Data Taxonomy" document. In this document, we propose a seven-dimensional taxonomy for big data. The main objective of this taxonomy is to help decision makers navigate the myriad choices in compute and storage infrastructures as well as data analytics techniques and security, privacy frameworks. The taxonomy has been pivoted around the nature of the data to be analyzed. About BDWG The BDWG was established to identify scalable techniques for data-centric security and privacy problems. BDWG’s investigation is expected to lead to crystallization of best practices for security and privacy in big data, help industry and government on adoption of best practices, establish liaisons with other organizations in order to coordinate the development of big data security and privacy standards, and accelerate the adoption of novel research aimed to address security and privacy issues. This is your opportunity to provide feedback and propose any changes to the document. The open review and comments period starts today and ends on April 18, 2014. ACTION Submitting feedback is easy with our 3 step process. Follow the below link to the peer review site: https://interact.cloudsecurityalliance.org/index.php/bigdata/Big_data_taxonomy We look forward to receiving your feedback.
