Edinburgh (UK), Amsterdam (NL) and Seattle, WA – March 17, 2014 – The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) today announced that Richard A. Clarke, Chairman and CEO of Good Harbor and Member of President Obama’s Review Group on Intelligence and Communications Technology has been added as a keynote presenter to the day two program of the upcoming SecureCloud 2014 conference taking place April 1-2, 2014 at the Amsterdam RAI Convention Centre in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Clarke is the former US National Coordinator for Security, Infrastructure Protection, and Counter-terrorism and has served several US presidents as a top cyber security advisor. Clarke joins the SecureCloud 2014 program where he is coming off the heels of a riveting and bold presentation at the CSA Summit at RSA focusing on Intelligence and Communications Technology. In addition to Clarke, Tim Grance, Computer Scientist and highly renowned co-author of cloud computing publications at NIST, Amelia Andersdotter will also present. Andersdotter is a member of the European Parliament for the Swedish Pirate party and has been named one of the world's ten most important internet activists for the year 2012. Finally, also added to the already sumptuous program is Dr Hing-Yan LEE PhD, Director of National Cloud Computing Office at the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, have also been added to an already sumptuous program.. SecureCloud 2014 will also include a number of important panels focused on legal issues, cryptography, incident reporting, critical information infrastructures and certification and compliance including the following: Removing Barriers to Cloud Adoption: Representatives from Adobe, Google, Microsoft and SAP will answer pressing questions from cloud users around openness, transparency, auditing and portability as to how customer requirements are captured in SLAs. Telcos Going Cloud: As telecom providers are carrying cloud computing traffic, some are transforming into cloud providers. Leading telco providers will discuss their security perspective on cloud computing. SecureCloud 2014 produced by the CSA, ENISA and Fraunhofer-FOKUS is an opportunity for government experts, industry experts and corporate decision makers to discuss and exchange ideas about how to shape the future of cloud computing security. It is also a place to learn from cloud computing experts about cloud computing security and privacy as well as to discuss about practical case studies from industry and government.
