Poste Italiane is a national leader in digital services providing financial, logistics, postal, insurance, digital communication, mobile, TLC, cyber security and cloud services to large companies, Public Administrations, SMEs and professionals. To provide secure services and protect customers, on-line services and transaction, Poste Italiane has created its internal Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), called PI CERT, and has certified its “core” services in compliance with ISO/IEC 27001 standard. Among these, “Up Time and Performance Security Monitoring” is the first SecaaS (Security as a Service) service that has gained the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Security, Trust and Assurance Registry (STAR) Certification. The service, provided as a SaaS model, makes available and configurable instruments to detect the status of websites and identify any malfunction or degradation of performance with respect to defined levels in order to promptly identify security events, guarantee continuity of operations and business, plan resource and optimize performance.
