Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Furthers Responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI) Safety Practices with Launch of Premier AI Safety Ambassador Program

Ambassador Program strengthens CSA’s mission to ensure AI safety and accountability

SEATTLE – March 3, 2025 – The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), the world’s leading organization dedicated to defining standards, certifications, and best practices to help ensure a secure cloud computing environment, is pleased to announce the inaugural cohort of Premier Artificial Intelligence (AI) Safety Ambassadors. In becoming Premier AI Safety Ambassadors, Airia.com, Deloitte, Endor Labs, Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ: MSFT), and Reco have demonstrated their commitment to leading AI safety practices within their organization, as well advocating for responsible AI practices across the industry and promoting pragmatic solutions to manage AI risks.

“AI Safety Ambassador Program members are forerunners in creating a safer AI future and are setting the gold standard for responsible AI innovation and use. CSA is honored to count Airia, Deloitte, Endor Labs, Microsoft, and Reco as inaugural members of the AI Safety Ambassador Program. By leading the charge to ensure secure and responsible AI deployment, they are shaping a future where AI will serve people, rather than the other way around,” said Jim Reavis, co-founder and CEO, Cloud Security Alliance.

Participation in the CSA AI Safety Ambassador program demonstrates both support of CSA’s AI Safety Initiative’s mission and an organization’s leadership in providing relevant security solutions for the next generation of IT-cloud computing.

“We are excited to be among the first to join the AI Safety Ambassador Program and to lead the way in shaping a safe and secure AI landscape for all enterprises,” said Kevin Kiley, President, Airia. “Premier AI Safety Ambassadors sit at the forefront of AI safety best practices, and we are extremely proud to be a part of this group.”

"The fast-paced advancement of artificial intelligence presents many challenges. It is crucial to approach these with intention and foresight to ensure a better future for all," said Fabio Battelli, Senior Partner in Deloitte for Cyber Security Services. "That’s why we are proud to be part of the AI Safety Ambassadors, dedicated to promoting a safe and positive future. AI is a general-purpose technology that has the potential to radically transform our lives. Rather than slowing its progress, we must ensure its development is guided by strong security principles at both national and international levels."

"AI is changing the way software is built," said Karl Mattson, CISO, Endor Labs. "The set of tools we use to identify, prioritize, and fix risk must also evolve. It's imperative that the security community works together to develop strong policies that will allow us to safely and responsibly adopt AI, and for this reason we are honored to be among the first AI Safety Ambassadors."

"As an early supporter of CSA's AI Safety Initiative, we are excited to see their continued leadership in ensuring AI is deployed and used responsibly. We are proud, therefore, to become a Premier AI Safety Ambassador and are confident that together we can build a more secure and responsible AI future," said Yonatan Zunger, Deputy CISO and CVP of AI Safety and Security, Microsoft.

"As AI continues to transform industries and everyday life, it’s essential that we develop and implement AI-based solutions responsibly and securely. Ensuring safety, transparency, and ethical use isn’t just a best practice—it’s a necessity for building trust and driving meaningful progress. We are, therefore, excited to be joining the AI Safety Ambassador program, which prioritizes the responsible use of AI as we work to unlock its full potential," said Tal Shapira, CTO and co-founder, Reco.
