Cloud Security Alliance Expands Enterprise Membership Program to Directly Improve Member Security Outcomes

New program provides structured expert guidance, hands-on workshops, and operational maturity roadmaps to help organizations translate CSA research into real-world security improvements

SEATTLE, March 18, 2026 — The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), the world’s leading not-for-profit organization committed to AI, cloud, and Zero Trust cybersecurity education, today announced a major expansion of its Enterprise Corporate Membership program — a tiered program designed to provide CISOs and other senior security leaders with direct, ongoing access to CSA expert analysts. The new membership structure expands CSA’s existing Corporate program with three additional tiers — Accelerated, Premier, and Elite — and introduces dedicated analyst access, structured operational maturity programs, and customized workshops designed to help member organizations measurably improve their cloud, AI, and Zero Trust security posture.

CSA’s globally recognized frameworks, including the Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM), AI Controls Matrix (AICM), Consensus Assessment Initiative Questionnaire (CAIQ), STAR Registry, and Cloud and AI Security Maturity Models, have long set the standard for the industry. The new Enterprise Membership program builds on this foundation by pairing these frameworks with dedicated analyst support and structured programs to guide organizations through practical implementation, providing regular touchpoints, including quarterly or monthly program reviews, hands-on workshops, and an annual progress report tracking measurable improvements against defined goals.

“For over 15 years, CSA has been the definitive source for cloud security research, frameworks, and best practices,” said Jim Reavis, CEO and co-founder of the Cloud Security Alliance. “With these new Enterprise Membership tiers, we’re taking the next step by working directly with our members to turn that research into action. We are incredibly excited to provide the hands-on expert guidance that organizations need to navigate the complexity of modern cloud and AI security.”

At the heart of the expanded program is the Operational Maturity Roadmap, a structured engagement model where CSA analysts work alongside member teams to assess their current security posture, define desired outcomes, and build a prioritized path to maturity across cloud security, AI security, and Zero Trust domains.

Each tier provides progressively deeper engagement with CSA analysts, more frequent touchpoints, and expanded capabilities. Starting at the Accelerated tier, members enroll in the full Operational Maturity Roadmap Program with dedicated analyst support, structured assessments, and regular program reviews. The Premier and Elite tiers add comprehensive program assessments, monthly review sessions, and the flexibility to pursue multiple concurrent maturity journeys.

“Organizations don’t struggle because they lack access to good research—they struggle because translating that research into operational security improvements is hard,” said Rich Mogull, Chief Analyst, Cloud Security Alliance. “This program is designed to bridge that gap. We’re embedding our analysts directly into member organizations’ security journeys, providing the ongoing guidance and accountability that makes the difference between a framework on a shelf and a measurable improvement in security outcomes.”

The new Enterprise Membership structure incorporates CSA’s industry-leading training certifications as a core component of the maturity journey. Members can select from foundational training options including the Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) for cloud security, the Trusted AI Safety Expert (TAISE) certificate for AI security, and the Certificate of Competence in Zero Trust (CCZT) for Zero Trust architecture. Higher-tier members also gain access to customized half-day and full-day workshops led by CSA analysts, tailored to their organization’s specific priorities and maturity level.

CSA will launch the new Enterprise Membership tiers at the 2026 RSA Conference (RSAC). Current and prospective members are encouraged to contact CSA to schedule meetings during the conference and learn more about how the program can support their organization’s security goals.
