Hall, general manager, Microsoft Trustworthy Computing, works with customers, partners and industry associations to help deliver safer, more trusted computing experiences for everyone. Her responsibilities include research on software security threats; advancement of the Microsoft Security Development Lifecycle; outreach to industry, academic and government leaders; and communicating the company’s response to security, privacy, reliability and accessibility issues. Hall has overseen Microsoft’s corporate sponsorship of the CSA and is a frequent speaker on the company’s approach to cloud transparency, compliance and trust. "I am extremely pleased that Adrienne has decided to join the board of the Cloud Security Alliance. She has been an avid supporter of our organization and its key initiatives since its launch in 2009," said Jim Reavis, co-founder and executive director of the CSA. "Her industry experience, business leadership and proven willingness to engage on cloud issues will be of critical value in furthering the CSA mission around the globe.” Hall received Professional Security Magazine’s 2013 Women in Security award for her significant contributions to the security industry and support for women within the field.
