CCM Lite & CAIQ Lite FAQ
CCM Lite & CAIQ Lite FAQ
The Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM) is a globally recognized framework of 197 controls (policies, procedures, and technical measures) that are crucial for cloud computing security and can be used to assess and guide the security of any cloud implementation. It is meticulously created and updated by CSA experts and aligned to CSA best practices.

The controls of CCM are arranged in a self-assessment known as the Consensus Assessment Initiative Questionnaire (CAIQ). Cloud service providers can use CAIQ to document what security controls exist in their services.

CCM Lite and CAIQ Lite are streamlined versions of CCM and CAIQ that cover only the most essential controls.
