CCM Working Group Charter

The CCM Working Group is responsible for maintaining and evolving the Cloud Security Alliance’s foundational framework for cloud security assurance, the Cloud Controls Matrix v4. In addition to releasing updated versions of the CCM and the CAIQ (Consensus Assessments Initiative Questionnaire), the group develops supporting materials such as addendums, control mappings, and gap analyses. These resources align the CCM with other CSA research, industry standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure the framework remains current, comprehensive, and relevant.

By continuously refining the CCM, the working group helps organizations assess and strengthen their cloud security posture while ensuring alignment with evolving compliance and risk management expectations.
