Many Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) solutions are used by groups of businesses to address specific business needs by providing specific characteristics, such as security, integrity, transactional transparency, stability over time, immutability, and protection of sensitive information. In order to achieve this governance is required both 1) over the responsibilities of the consortium members managing the solution and 2) over the technology used to deploy the DLT solution.

The DLT Cybersecurity Governance Framework developed by the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), serves as a comprehensive framework to address cybersecurity risks associated with DLT. It is designed to assist professionals and organizations in identifying and mitigating these risks effectively.
