This document explains how to submit an ISO/IEC 27001 certificate and/or an ISO/IEC 42001 certificate to the CSA STAR Registry to receive the STAR for AI Level 2 designation.

This guide does not cover STAR for AI Attestation (SOC 2 + AICM) or STAR for AI Level 1 self-assessments. 

Note that STAR for AI Level 2 Certification submissions must be made by the auditor responsible for conducting the organization’s certification audit.
