James D. Robinson, Former American Express Chairman and CEO, Added to CSA Summit Keynote Lineup
Venture Capitalist and Wall Street Legend to Deliver Closing Keynote at Summit at RSA
San Francisco, CA – January 29, 2013 – The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) today announced the addition of James D. Robinson III as the closing keynote speaker at the annual CSA Summit 2013 being held at the RSA Conference on Monday, February 25th. Mr. Robinson is a Co-Founder and General Partner of RRE Ventures, LLC, and Presiding Director of the Coca-Cola Company. His speech will focus on “Tech Innovation, Macroeconomics and the Future Security Mandate.” Mr. Robinson served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of American Express Company from 1977 to 1993. He was a key figure in the RJR Nabisco leveraged buyout battle, chronicled in the book and movie Barbarians at the Gate (portrayed by former Senator Fred Dalton Thompson in the movie). “Mr. Robinson is a Wall Street legend, and has played a pivotal role in some of this country’s most successful businesses, many of which are household names,” said Jim Reavis, executive director of the CSA. “We are thrilled to have him as part of our annual summit, which has become a ‘must-attend’ event at RSA.” The full speaker lineup is available on the CSA Summit 2013 website, and will open with a keynote on “National Security and the Cloud” from Mark Weatherford, Deputy Under Secretary for Cybersecurity, Department of Homeland Security. New panel talks on “Mobile Security Insights” and “Managing Enterprise Global Security in an era of Hybrid Cloud and Smart Mobile” have also been added to the agenda.
