Cloud Security Alliance Opens Call for Speakers for CSA Congress 2014
Organization Also Seeks Volunteers for Conference Track Committees
Seattle, WA – January 27, 2014 – The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), a not-for-profit organization with a mission to promote the use of best practices for providing security assurance within Cloud Computing, today issued a Call for Papers and Call for Track Committee Volunteers for its annual CSA Congress 2014 scheduled to take place September 17-19, 2014, at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, CA. In a departure from years past, the CSA Congress CFP is being issued without specifying the tracks in advance. The organization will, instead, decide the tracks after evaluating the submissions. Volunteers for Track Committees will be assigned to the tracks once selected. This year, the CSA and the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) are combining their Congress US and Privacy Academy events into a conference in the heart of Silicon Valley that will offer attendees eighty sessions to choose from covering all aspects of privacy and cloud security. Nowhere else will cloud, IT and privacy professionals be able to meet and learn from each other, and gain visibility to practical, implementable solutions delivered by leading industry experts. Together the conferences will broaden the educational and networking opportunities available to both IAPP and CSA members. Speaker proposals can be submitted at https://cloudsecurityalliance.org/events/csa-congress-iapp-privacy-academy-2014/#_call. The deadline for submitting a proposal is Friday February 21st, 2014. Track Committee member volunteer submissions can be made at https://cloudsecurityalliance.org/surveys/trackvolunteer/. The deadline for volunteer sign-ups is Friday February 14th, 2014.
