Abstract:
Despite a wide range of commercial software applications, many enterprises still have unique requirements they fulfill with custom, internally developed applications. For example, an airline may develop its own scheduling application for pilots and flight attendants, and a rental car company may develop an application for its customer support call center. Traditionally, enterprises deployed these internally developed applications in their own datacenters on dedicated servers or virtualized in a “private cloud” in a third-party datacenter. Increasingly, they deploy these applications on public cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. This survey asks respondents about the adoption trends they see within their organization for public cloud IaaS and their security concerns.
Thank you in advance for your participation!
