Agnidipta Sarkar has been evangelizing Cybersecurity, Privacy, Business Continuity, Digital Resilience, and Standardization through speaking at industry forums like Gartner, IDC, EC-Council, ISMG, BCI Global, CORE Resilience, etc. and through his contributions to standards bodies like the ISO, Cloud Security Alliance, and the Business Continuity Institute. He is a member of ISO panels for security & privacy, continuity & resilience, and risk management and he has been drafted by the Bureau of Indian Standards, to lead an expert panel to define the first-ever standard on cyber resilience. Currently employed as the Group CISO for Biocon, he is engaged in transforming cybersecurity for the global biopharmaceutical company with operations across the world. In his earlier roles, he has successfully built & operated the world’s largest integrated management systems supporting multiple ISO standards at HP/HPE/DXC. He has successfully reduced operational cost, optimized risks, established resilience, and reduced overheads in global organizations by streamlining and consolidating activities, removing silos while remaining focused upon the rigor needed to ensure procedures are established and improved in organizations like HCL and Wipro.
