CISO and Technology Evangelist
Dutch Schwartz is a fractional CISO and advisor for several technology firms. Prior to this, he was a senior security advisor with Raytheon and AWS. In those roles, he led security strategy, revenue, and customer engagement for fifty global enterprises spanning aviation, digital natives, financial services, travel, media & entertainment, software, and gaming. Dutch partners with CISOs in the Fortune 500 to help them build and execute cybersecurity strategies that deliver business value. An inaugural member of AWS’ AI Security Working, he helped shaped the approach to safely enabling genAI in enterprises. Co-author of an official AWS blog on AI Security, he delivered this strategy at AWS re:Inforce and multiple venues on related AI topics. He’s an emerging technologies advisor to the President of ISSA International, an active member of the Cyber Security Tribe, and the CSO Strategic Advisory Committee for the Cloud Security Alliance's (CSA) AI Safety Initiative. Dutch is a former strategic planning officer in the U.S. Army, holds an MBA in Global Management, cybersecurity certificates from MIT Sloan School of Management and Harvard University, the AI Programme certificate from Oxford University, and is a Qualified Technology Executive (QTE). He’s currently earning a second Master’s degree in Psychology with an Emphasis on Human Factors.
