PROF. MADYA. DR. JEONG CHUN PHUOC is a holder of PHD from UNIVERSITI MALAYA; MASTER OF LAWS (LLM) was from NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF SINGAPORE (NUS), SINGAPORE and Bachelor of Law with Honors from International Islamic University(IIUM). He has 25 years of both industrial and academic experience. His core area of expertise are INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, DATA LAW, ENVIRONMENTAL LAW, BUSINESS LAW, TRADE LAW, GOVERNANCE & ETHICS. He is a Speaker at United Nations sponsored platforms, Grant Reviewer, Reviewer of global Scopus journals, certified Train The Trainer (TTT), Supervisor of postgraduate students, Speaker consultant at Postgraduate Centre and Graduate School, research grant Leader, Expert Advisor to the government agencies i.e. TVET-GITC, NGOs, private industry and SMEs sectors, Legal Advisor to the Presidents, Deans of research, RMCs and SMEs in Malaysia and abroad on holistic compliance impacting business data innovations, industrial megatrends and commercial management sustainability within the ASEAN/ASIA region. He is an ASEAN reference person on Intellectual Property and DATA /AI for global universities and research hubs. Keeping close to Policy and Strategy engagements, he has been deeply involved in Policy and Strategy affairs at numerous levels, weaving the needs of education, research and business into a good tapestry of agreement. This tapestry is clearly seen in his high impact Legal and Consultative Advisory engagement with government agencies, government-linked companies, universities, business entities, and nongovernmental and non-profit organizations encompassing Construction Industry Development Board(CIDB), Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia(MYIPO), Abadan Kerja Raya Malaysia(JKR)/Malaysian Public Works Department, PETRONAS, Ministry of Finance, and others.
