Langbly provides a translation API designed as a drop-in replacement for Google Translate v2. Developers can switch by changing a single endpoint URL, with no code changes required. The API supports 100+ languages and is available through official SDKs for Python and JavaScript, plus integrations for WordPress, Drupal, Crowdin, Strapi, Zapier, and n8n. Security is central to the architecture. Langbly operates a zero content retention policy: translation text exists only in memory during request processing and is never written to disk, logged, or stored in any database. All traffic is encrypted with TLS 1.3, and data at rest uses AES-256 encryption. Every request requires API key authentication with per-key rate limiting. For customers with strict data residency requirements, a dedicated EU endpoint processes all data exclusively within the European Union (Finland). The global endpoint operates from the Netherlands. Both endpoints are fully GDPR compliant, with a published Data Processing Agreement that lists all sub-processors, their purposes, and data locations. Langbly is registered in the Netherlands and serves developers, SaaS companies, and localization teams who need accurate, cost-effective translation at scale.
