PayBrain is a French company (PayBrain SARL, Cannes) providing a SaaS payment-acceptance platform that lets merchants accept payments in stablecoins and major cryptocurrencies and receive settlement in euros.

What we deliver - Payment pages and QR codes, a merchant web dashboard, and a point-of-sale application for Android payment terminals. - Compliance built into the payment flow: payer identification by amount thresholds, sanctions and PEP screening against sovereign watchlists, transaction records and Travel Rule data, risk engine and human review where required. - Custody, conversion and settlement are performed by regulated partners; PayBrain holds no customer funds and no customer private keys.

Security and resilience - Data hosted in the European Union with independently audited infrastructure providers. - Security framework of 12 policies mapped to the Cloud Controls Matrix v4.1, with incident, access, testing and ICT-provider registers maintained in line with DORA requirements. - Annual CAIQ self-assessment published on the STAR Registry; independent external audit planned.

CAIQ
Offers an industry-accepted way to document what security controls exist in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services. It provides a set of Yes/No/NA questions and space to justify the response a cloud consumer and cloud auditor may wish to ask of a cloud provider to ascertain their compliance to the Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM).
