STAR Registry Listing for

Karsenics OS (KOS)

Karsenics OS (KOS)

Karsenics OS (KOS) is a software-as-a-service platform that runs registration and event operations for Pride organizations, festivals, parades and community nonprofits.

Participants register and pay online as vendors, exhibitors, food vendors, parade entries, sponsors or volunteers. Organizers review and approve applications, collect signed documents and uploads, assign booths and parade lineup on maps, and check people in on event day.

Each client organization runs on its own isolated KOS site and database. Payments go through Stripe Checkout straight to the organization's own Stripe account, and KOS never handles card data. Staff sign in with email links or passkeys, and every action is controlled by role-based permissions.

KOS is hosted on Render, which runs on AWS and Google Cloud, with daily offsite backups and centralized security logging.

Offers an industry-accepted way to document what security controls exist in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services. It provides a set of Yes/No/NA questions and space to justify the response a cloud consumer and cloud auditor may wish to ask of a cloud provider to ascertain their compliance to the Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM).
