STAR Registry Listing for

LoopNPD

LoopNPD

LoopNPD is a cloud platform for food and beverage product development. It gives R&D teams, brands and consultants one place to run new product development from brief to launch.

What it does - Formula builder with an ingredient library and supplier records - US Nutrition Facts labels, allergen review and claims checks - Stage-gate project tracking with approvals - Sensory, analytical and shelf-life (stability) test records - Ingredient documents (TDS, SDS, CoA) stored with each ingredient - Millie, an AI co-pilot that answers formulation and regulatory questions from the team's own records and cited sources

How it is delivered LoopNPD is software as a service, hosted on Google Cloud in the United States. Each customer's data is kept in its own workspace, and formulas are treated as confidential customer property. Sign-in is handled by Clerk, and payments by Stripe. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and the database is backed up daily.

Offers an industry-accepted way to document what security controls exist in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services. It provides a set of Yes/No/NA questions and space to justify the response a cloud consumer and cloud auditor may wish to ask of a cloud provider to ascertain their compliance to the Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM).
