UrbisMap

Founded in 2013 by the Cloud Security Alliance, the Security Trust Assurance and Risk (STAR) registry encompasses key principles of transparency, rigorous auditing, and cloud security and privacy best practices.

UrbisMap

UrbisMap is an online Geographic Information System that helps Public Administrations, technicians, and private citizens quickly access urban plans, cadastral data, constraints, and regulations across the entire national territory from any internet-connected device (cross-platform). UrbisMap, accessible at www.urbismap.com, is structured as a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) system with an integrated geographic database containing all the georeferenced territorial information, implemented and updated on a daily basis using the WGS84 system. The data available on UrbisMap can be accessed free of charge. Upon registration (free of charge), users can access all the information available in the system. Through subscription-based access, available in customized packages for Public Administrations and freelance technicians, advanced tools and applications are provided to optimize and expedite the operations of users. For example, there is a dedicated tool for municipal technical offices to automate the issuance of urban destination certificates. By interacting with the map through clicks or taps on the screen or by geolocation on smartphones, users can obtain all the urban, cadastral, constraint, and regulatory information overlapping that specific geographic point. The main application areas are in the fields of urban planning and construction, both private and public sectors, environmental preservation and control, real estate, and renewable energies.
