WritersProof

WritersProof

WritersProof is a cloud service for cryptographic authorship verification and writing provenance. It produces tamper-evident, independently verifiable proof of how a piece of writing was created and who authored it, supporting transparent, responsible authorship rather than after-the-fact AI detection.

As you write, WritersProof measures behavioural process signals (typing rhythm, pauses, and revision patterns) and derives a private authorship profile. The raw text is never captured or stored; only derived features are used. Authorship evidence is cryptographically signed (Ed25519) and hash-chained (SHA-256) so it cannot be forged or altered after the fact, and anyone can validate it through the public verification portal without access to the original work.

Users access WritersProof through a macOS desktop application, browser extensions, a web application, and a command-line interface, with a hosted API, verification portal, and credential badges. Behavioural (biometric) processing is always opt-in and revocable; data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). The evidence format aligns with open content-provenance standards (C2PA) and IETF remote-attestation work.

Offers an industry-accepted way to document what security controls exist in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services. It provides a set of Yes/No/NA questions and space to justify the response a cloud consumer and cloud auditor may wish to ask of a cloud provider to ascertain their compliance to the Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM).
