Cloud Security Alliance’s Certificate of Competence in Zero Trust (CCZT) Recognized for Excellence in the 21st 2025 Globee® Awards for Cybersecurity
CCZT is the industry’s first authoritative Zero Trust training and credential
SEATTLE – March 26, 2025 – The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), the world’s leading organization dedicated to defining standards, certifications, and best practices to help ensure a secure cloud computing environment, is pleased to announce that its Certificate of Competence in Zero Trust (CCZT) received a Silver Award for Cybersecurity Education and Training as part of the 21st Annual 2025 Globee® Awards for Cybersecurity, a globally recognized program celebrating excellence in all areas of cybersecurity. The CCZT, the industry’s first authoritative Zero Trust training and credential, was chosen for its groundbreaking contributions to digital security, innovation in threat defense, and commitment to cybersecurity solutions.
“Receiving recognition from the Globee® Awards serves as a compelling validation of our ongoing commitment to cybersecurity excellence and training. This accolade reinforces our mission to remain at the forefront of cybersecurity and propel advancements within the industry,” said Jim Reavis, CEO and co-founder, Cloud Security Alliance.
The CCZT provides mainstream best practices and knowledge to drive the definition, implementation, and management of Zero Trust over time. It provides an in-depth understanding of Zero Trust architecture, its components, and its functioning and includes foundational Zero Trust best practices released by leading authoritative sources such as CISA and NIST, innovative work around the Software Defined Perimeter (SDP) by CSA Research, and guidance from renowned Zero Trust experts such as John Kindervag, founder of the Zero Trust philosophy and one of the world’s foremost cybersecurity experts.
The CCZT exam evaluates an individual’s knowledge and expertise in these seven areas of critical Zero Trust knowledge — Zero Trust foundational concepts, Software Defined Perimeter, industry best practices, Zero Trust architecture, Zero Trust strategy, Zero Trust planning, and Zero Trust implementation — ensuring security professionals are best prepared to implement and manage their Zero Trust environments.
San Madan, President of the Globee Awards, commended this year’s winners: “Congratulations to the 2025 winners for their exceptional contributions to strengthening our digital world. Your dedication, innovation, and leadership are not only driving cybersecurity forward but also inspiring the industry to reach new heights. We are proud to recognize and celebrate your success.”
The Globee® Awards for Cybersecurity spotlight the achievements of companies and individuals excelling in risk management, threat detection, cloud security, AI-driven defense, data privacy, zero-trust architecture, compliance, and other cutting-edge cybersecurity innovations that safeguard digital ecosystems worldwide.
