CSA Announces Working Group Sessions at RSA in San Francisco
The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Summit 2013 is happening at RSA-US in San Francisco, CA, USA on February 25th, 2013. In addition to our main event, CSA is hosting sessions during the week for some of our active working groups. These are free events that will be held outside of the regular conference on Thursday, February 28th and hosted at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel. Where: Sir Francis Drake Hotel Franciscan Room 450 Powell Street San Francisco, CA 94108 - 6 blocks from the Moscone Center (10 minute walk) What and when: Security as a Service Working Group (to RSVP click here) Implementation guidance has been developed for the ten defined SecaaS categories. The ten categories are explored further as this working group looks to update and consider new categories in version 2 of the Defined Categories of Service. Thursday, February 28 11;30am - 1:00pm Mobile Working Group (to RSVP click here) Security Guidance to Critical Areas of Mobile Computing in the Cloud was launched in November. The Mobile Working Group looks to expand on Mobile Authentication, BYOD, App Store Security, and include new mobile OS's. Thursday, February 28th 1:00pm - 2:30pm Trusted Cloud Initiative (to RSVP click here) Version 2 of the architecture is being released at RSA. In addition to updating the architecture, new features to the interactive website and the 2013 roadmap are revealed. A special NIST use case of TCI will also be presented. Thursday, February 28th 2:30 - 4:00pm Cloud Controls Matrix (to RSVP click here) Version 3 of the CCM is currently being developed. Come see what's being updated to the matrix structure and be a part of the peer review process as we look to launch CCM v3.0 in the coming months. Learn about the new mappings being considered for 2013. Thursday, February 28th 4:00pm - 5:00pm These events are free but please RSVP as space is limited.
