Publication Peer Review

SSCF-CAIQ
Open Until: 12/25/2025
The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), in collaboration with the SaaS Security Capability Framework (SSCF) Working Group, is pleased to announce the release of the Final Draft of the SSCF Consensus Assessments Initiative Questionnaire (SSCF-CAIQ) v1.0 for open peer review. We invite cloud security professionals and organizations to participate and provide valuable feedback on the proposed questionnaire prior to final publication.
Project Scope and Objectives
The SSCF-CAIQ v1.0 is a foundational security questionnaire that enables SaaS cloud service providers to perform self-assessments against SSCF v1.0. It helps organizations evaluate how well SaaS services implement relevant, customer-facing security capabilities under the Shared Security Responsibility Model (SSRM).
This release aims to strengthen the clarity, relevance, and usability of SSCF self-assessment questions, supporting transparency and accountability in SaaS security capability implementation and accelerating adoption of standardized SaaS security practices.
Why Your Input Matters
SaaS security is a shared responsibility, and SSCF-CAIQ is a vital tool for SaaS providers and customers to confirm that services meet baseline, customer-visible security capability expectations. Your expert insights will help us:
- Validate the practical relevance and usability of the SSCF-CAIQ questions for real SaaS deployments
- Identify any gaps, redundancies, or ambiguities in the current final draft
- Ensure the right balance between comprehensiveness and ease of industry adoption
