SecaaS Seeks Input on Working Group Proposal

SecaaS Seeks Input on Working Group Proposal

June 6, 2011– The Cloud Security Alliance is now soliciting input for the Security as a Service (SecaaS) Working Group’s “Categories of Service” section of their working group proposal. One of the group’s objectives is to define categories of cloud security services (and to what degree they mitigate to each type of threat). In addition, they plan to create taxonomy of classes of security that might be delivered by the cloud. The existing content is based on the survey results that were collected after the RSA Conference earlier in the year. The SecaaS working group leaders seek input from all CSA members who have expressed interest in contributing to the working group. Contributors are asked to:

  1. 1) Visit the SecaaS wiki page at: https://wiki.cloudsecurityalliance.org/group9-wg/index.php/Main_Page
  2. 2) Create an account (your user name should be in the form "firstname.lastname") or Log in (if you already have an account)
  3. 3) Click on “Categories of Service”
  4. 4) Select a Category
  5. 5) Click on the “edit” button to add additional content to areas you want to contribute to. You can add new content or elaborate on existing content. Possible areas of input:
