CSA’s AI Safety Initiative is the premier coalition of trusted experts who converge to develop and deliver essential AI guidance and tools that empower organizations of all sizes to deploy AI solutions that are safe, responsible, and compliant.

Using CSA’s agile programs for vendor-neutral research, training and certificates, as well as our global footprint of industry experts, chapters, webinars and conferences, CSA is uniquely positioned to build and evangelize authoritative AI best practices and tools.

Established leaders in generative AI and cloud security are invited to participate in select AI Safety Leadership Councils or have an active seat at the table in any of CSA’s AI working groups. Those looking to better understand the future of AI disciplines, or receive pragmatic advice on managing risks and gaining benefits from generative AI in the cloud today, will benefit from Research papers, webinars, and events produced by the CSA AI Safety Initiative.

Organizational AI Usage Certification & Compliance

CSA is set to enhance STAR, our industry leading cloud assurance program, to include AI compliance and certification services. This expansion, named STAR AI, will cater to both providers and enterprises incorporating AI into their solutions, based on the consensus best practices developed by the initiative research working groups. A full roadmap for this update will be announced in Q3 2024.
