This mapping aims to identify the alignment between the AICM’s controls and the EU AI Act’s requirements, identifying areas of full, partial, or no coverage. Each control in the AICM is compared against specific articles, recitals, and annexes of the EU AI Act, with clear justifications and gap analyses provided. The intent of this work is to help AI governance and compliance professionals understand how the EU AI Act supports — or fails to address — specific operational, security, and governance controls recommended in the AICM.
