Incident Response (IR) is a critical facet of any information security program. You will be breached, no matter how strong your security posture. Most organizations have some sort of IR plan to govern how they will investigate an attack, but the cloud presents distinct differences in process, technologies, and even governance. Further complicating the situation, many cloud attacks also involve non-cloud elements, ranging from malware and phishing to hybrid network or directory/identity compromises.
