Taming Multi-Cloud Identity with a New Standard
Taming Multi-Cloud Identity with a New Standard
Gartner projects 80% of corporate IT will be cloud-based by 2025, with 81% using two or more cloud platforms. Since each cloud platform has its own identity system, this creates new problems — specifically in distributed, multi-cloud environments. This session will discuss the technical challenges enterprises face in managing multi-cloud identity and enforcing security policies in a unified fashion. It will present a new open source standard that allows organizations to orchestrate both identity management and policy enforcement across multi-cloud and hybrid on-premises/cloud architectures.
Session participants will:

  • Understand the challenges associated with managing identities in a multi-cloud world
  • Find out how open source identity orchestration can bridge interoperable identity systems
  • Learn how a new open identity standard can be used to support policy enforcement across distributed architectures
