Cloud Security Alliance announces strategic partnership with HISPI
Strategic Partnership: HISPI & CSA
LITHONIA, GA — September 21, 2010 – The Holistic Information Security Practitioner Institute (HISPI), the worldwide visionary in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) thought leadership, today announced today a strategic partnership with the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) that will provide members of both organizations an educational roadmap and credentials to enhance their educational background. Members will be able to differentiate themselves as experienced industry experts with a well rounded education in development and improvement of a comprehensive risk management program that addresses all of an organization’s operational, information technology and information security risks. This includes both assessment and management of a holistic ISMS, with a special discipline in cloud computing methodology. “We are excited about this strategic partnership. It was critical that we formed this type of alliance with an organization that has upheld the same high standards the HISPI has over the years. In an extensive review process, CSA proved to be the standout in the field of cloud computing. We feel they are superior because of the quality of solutions and the breadth of their cloud computing knowledge. With the combined efforts of CSA and the HISPI, the new CCSK and HISP certification go hand in glove with what the HISP is all about and now forms the “Perfect Storm” in terms of quality and expertise in the space of information security management. Our combined efforts fill the gap in the market place for management system optimization and supply‐chain management which is heavily weighted on reducing risk and being prepared at all times through a proactive approach.” – John DiMaria, President of the HISPI. “CSA is very excited about formalizing our relationship with the HISPI. Their insights and experiences specific to holistic information security risk and compliance, a common area of concern amongst organizations large and small, will benefit both organizations members who are looking to expand their horizons’ and hold a true practitioner certification enhanced with the CCSK. Now more than ever, organizations seek the advice and counsel of professionals with a broad range of experiences in this area, and this partnership enables us to meet that expectation.” ‐ Jim Reavis, Executive Director of CSAAbout the CSA
