Cloud Security Alliance and Internet Security Conference Sign Memorandum of Understanding
CSA to hold CSASummit@ISC in conjunction with ISC event in Beijing
SAN FRANCISCO – March 4, 2019 – RSA CONFERENCE 2019 – The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), the world’s leading organization dedicated to defining and raising awareness of best practices to help ensure a secure cloud computing environment, today entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Internet Security Conference. CSA Co-founder and CEO Jim Reavis and Mrs. Han Xiao, Secretary General of Internet Security Conference (ISC), penned the agreement during a ceremony that took place as part of the CSA Summit today.
“It’s extremely gratifying to be able to grow our presence in the APAC region through a partnership with such well-regarded organizations the Internet Security Conference,” said Jim Reavis, co-founder and CEO, Cloud Security Alliance. “I look forward to a mutually beneficial conference and other joint initiatives that will further raise awareness in the region of best practices to help ensure a secure cloud computing environment throughout the world.”
As part of the agreement—and at the invitation of the Internet Security Conference (ISC), one of the most insightful high-profile events on network security in Asia-Pacific and worldwide—the CSA will host a CSA Summit co-located with the ISC event in Beijing on Aug. 21-22, 2019. Founded in 2013, the ISC has been successfully held for six years, during which time it has been well recognized, supported and participated by governments, think tanks, business executives, academia, industry influences and technical elites.
CSA Summit@ISC is expected to draw 800 to 1,000 well-qualified attendees with an interest in cloud security and will feature industry-leading security experts and prominent cloud service providers who will discuss global governance, the latest trends in technology, the threat landscape, security innovations, and best practices in order to help organizations address the new frontiers in cloud security.
