Cloud Security Alliance Announces Rolling Call for Participation, Content for Virtual and In-person Global Events
Subject matter experts invited to share expertise with cyber, cloud communities
SEATTLE – April 1, 2021 – The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), the world’s leading organization dedicated to defining and raising awareness of best practices to help ensure a secure cloud computing environment, today announces that it will be accepting speaker and content submissions for its world-class global virtual and in-person events, as well as webinars and blogs on a rolling basis. The move will make it easier for interested subject matter experts to potentially share their expertise across a number of CSA platforms while providing event attendees and readers with content of the highest quality and value.
“Cloud computing continues to dominate the technology field and increasingly influences our lives. It’s changed how we work day-to-day and transformed our cyber resiliency strategies, tactics, and operations. An important part of our mission at CSA is advising individuals and organizations on the best ways to protect their cloud computing environments and critical data assets, and there is no better way to accomplish this than by drawing on the collective expertise of the cloud security community,” said Jim Reavis, co-founder and CEO, Cloud Security Alliance.
Interested parties are now able to submit proposals at any time throughout the year, however, submissions for key events have the following submission deadline dates: CSA SECtember (July 9, 2021), CSA Federal Summit (Aug. 6, 2021), and CSA Continuous, a 24-hour global event (Aug. 13, 2021).
Submissions will be reviewed by a content review committee composed of security and cloud veterans, who are experts in a wide variety of security solution areas. Proposals will be considered through a lens of applicability to the audience, which encompasses primarily security professionals, CIOs and CISOs, government agencies, cloud providers, global privacy experts, analysts, and students. Other considerations include: the balance of content in the overall program; its technical depth, with a preference for unique, innovative, thought leadership and research-driven material. Sessions and blog posts that include case studies, co-presentations, and audience engagement are all preferred.
