Arpitha Kaushik is a senior governance, risk, and compliance expert with nearly two decades of experience strengthening cybersecurity posture and advancing governance programs to enhance organizational resilience. She brings expertise across IT audit, cybersecurity governance, cloud and AI controls, and third‑party risk management, with a proven record of leading NIST CSF assessments and SOX, APRA, and PCI‑aligned audit initiatives.

Arpitha is a research fellow with the Cloud Security Alliance, where she has co-authored guidance across the Cloud Controls Matrix, AI Controls Matrix, and responsible AI governance. An accredited CISA trainer and academic committee chair for ISACA Silicon Valley, she mentors professionals pursuing advanced security and audit credentials and previously served as the chapter’s Certification Director.
