Damir Savanovic

Damir Savanovic (M) is an Associate Director - Cloud Controls Lead at Willis Towers Watson, leading a team of subject matter experts to address compliance and control requirements for multiple compliance frameworks within information and cybersecurity for a global financial institution.

As a security evangelist and subject matter expert in the areas of security governance, risk and compliance, data protection with over 15 years of experience in cyber security, he has vast experience and knowledge of cyber security and privacy standards, laws and regulations. Damir worked as a Senior Innovation Analyst and Program Manager at Cloud Security Alliance, CISO and IT Quality Manager in SKB, Société Générale Group, and as IS Auditor at EY. Damir graduated from University of Ljubljana (Slovenia) in Information Technology and holds CCSK, CISM, CISA and ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor certifications.
