Darnell Washington
Mr. Washington’s experience spans over 35 years in information technology and cybersecurity, He began his career at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory and has continuously progressive experience working developing architectures for banking and financial organizations such as the Federal Reserve and collaborating as a subject matter expert for the US Department of Homeland Security Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.
His accomplishments include numerous awards and industry recognition from public and private organizations including government information security leadership awards, technology product of the year, and most valuable product of the year as the inventor of an IoT based encrypted video surveillance solution known as CHAVE.
Current activities include supply chain risk mitigation within Industrial Control System environments, cloud security, and third party vendor risk assessment within cloud and off-premise hosted environments. He is an active lecturer, trainer, and educator in cyber network defense and trusted computing platform development. He is a certified instructor for ISC(2) and has maintained his CISSP certification since February 2001.
