Jan Carroll is a respected cybersecurity expert, lecturer, course creator and founder of Fortify Institute. Her passion for closing the cybersecurity skills gap, especially for women and underrepresented groups, extends to cloud security. She actively participates in the cloud security community in Ireland. Jan is a dedicated member of the infosec community, lending her expertise to various organizations such as Cyber Ireland, CompTIA Trainers Network, and ISC2. Her contributions to education and mentorship have earned her accolades. Jan holds an MEd in Adult Education and an MSc in Applied Cyber Security, always keeping herself updated with the latest advancements in a rapidly evolving industry. Jan is a PECB Certified Trainer and PECB Certified ISO/IEC 2700 Lead Implementer.
