Senior Vice President, Cybersecurity Strategy at ON2IT Cybersecurity

John Kindervag joined ON2IT in March of 2021 as Senior Vice President of Cybersecurity Strategy and ON2IT Global Fellow. Previously he was Field CTO at Palo Alto Networks and VicePresident and Principal AnalystatForrester Research. John is considered one of the world's foremost cybersecurity experts. He is best known for creating the revolutionary Zero TrustModel of Cybersecurity. John also serves as an executive advisor to Cloud Security Alliance in support of its Zero Trust Advancement Center.

In 2021, John was named to the President’s NSTAC Zero Trust Sub-Committee and was a primary author of the NSATC Zero Trust report that is being delivered to the President of theUnited States. Additionally, John was named CISO Magazine’s 2021 CybersecurityPerson of the Year.

John has a practitioner background, having served as a security consultant, penetration tester, and security architect. He has been interviewed and published in numerous publications and has also appeared on television networks. He is a frequent speaker at security conferences and events

John also serves as an executive advisor to Cloud Security Alliance in support of its Zero Trust Advancement Center.
