Senior Cybersecurity Researcher

Moses (PhD, CISSP, CCSP, CGRC) is a senior cyber-security researcher in the Defence and Security Cluster of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), and a part-time lecturer at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. Before joining the CSIR, he was a Computer Science Lecturer at the University of KwaZulu Natal. He completed his PhD, MSc and BSc Honours in Computer Science at the University of Pretoria. He did his undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Swaziland. His research work focuses on Cybersecurity for Gen AI, Gen AI for Cybersecurity, Cloud Security, Data Protection & Privacy, Cybersecurity for OT, Security of Internet of Things, Context-aware and Behavioral Authentication, Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity and Access Management ( IdAM ), Conflict-aware Access Control, Digital Forensics and Cryptography. He is passionate about secure and privacy-preserving technology that serves the needs of community and industry. He publishes his research work both at national and international forum.
