Shawn Harris is Deputy Chief Information Security Officer at Chipotle Mexican Grill, where he leads the company’s enterprise cybersecurity program across engineering, identity, privacy, digital fraud, and compliance. He is responsible for driving a modern, risk-based security strategy that enables business growth while strengthening resilience across a global digital ecosystem.
With more than 25 years of experience, Shawn has built and scaled cybersecurity programs for complex, multi-billion-dollar organizations, aligning security investments to measurable business outcomes. He is known for combining deep technical expertise with executive leadership to transform security functions and elevate enterprise risk posture.
Shawn serves on the Board of Directors for the National Technology Security Coalition (NTSC) and Hackers for Change (HFC), and advises leading organizations including the RSA Conference Program Committee and Microsoft’s Cybersecurity Customer Advisory Board. He is a former co-chair of the Cloud Security Alliance Cloud Controls Matrix working group.
He has been recognized as one of Security Magazine’s Top Cybersecurity Leaders and was named ISC2 Senior Cybersecurity Professional of the Year. Shawn is a frequent speaker at global industry events including RSA Conference, ISC2 World Congress, and the NTSC National CISO Policy Conference.
