Sofia is a product and technology professional with over 10 years experience leading digital innovation in Fortune 500 firms such as Amazon and PayPal as well as startups, covering a broad range of industries including financial services, e-commerce, programmatic advertising technology. In her role of IT and Cloud Officer at PayPal Sofia leads Technology Oversight of all PayPal products and services in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and led international Privacy Product Technology build from the ground up launching high-load customer-facing products for Individual Privacy Rights that serve 400MM customers in over 50 countries. In Amazon Luxembourg Sofia led a build of automated digital solutions for cross-border VAT reporting for merchants & business process. Sofia holds a qualification of CRICS, Certified Outsourcing and Cloud Officer, various technology certifications including CCSK, provider-specific covering AWS, Azure, GCP; methodology specific like, CSPO, CSM. Beyond professional activity, Sofia contributes to Cloud Security Alliance Leadership Council, ISACA, ABBL.
