STAR Registry Listing for

Backup as a Service (BaaS)

Founded in 2013 by the Cloud Security Alliance, the Security Trust Assurance and Risk (STAR) registry encompasses key principles of transparency, rigorous auditing, and cloud security and privacy best practices.

Backup as a Service (BaaS)

Through the Backup as a Service it is possible for the customer to extend the backup capabilities of their Cloud PSN service (beyond the capacities provided by the default backup) thus allowing the execution of backup and restore jobs of the various contexts (filesystem, virtual machine, database and application, email, etc.) of the customer in an effective and secure way.
In addition to the standard backup service mentioned above, PSN provides an additional optional Golden Copy service that can be activated separately: this is a fully managed and optional feature, which can be activated on request, in addition to the standard Backup service: it carries out the verification and validate data integrity during backup and golden copy activities.
