STAR-Enabled Solution:

Equinix

Equinix

Equinix Customer Portal (ECP) is the portal through which customers order and manage their digital infrastructure at Equinix online 24 x7 x 365. Customers can place orders, create support tickets, access reports and view account information and invoices.

Equinix Fabric is a software-defined interconnection platform enabling customers to privately connect digital infrastructure and services on demand to major cloud providers, business partners, network service providers, or their own assets. Equinix Fabric is deployed in over 58 markets around the world.

Fabric Cloud Router is an on-demand, easy-to-deploy virtual routing service on Equinix Fabric establishing flexible, private Layer 3 connectivity between public clouds, collocation, and other Equinix services across our software-defined global network. This enables customers to route traffic across their multicloud network more efficiently and at scale.

Equinix Precision Time provides accurate, secure, and reliable time to enterprise applications connected to Equinix Fabric in North and South America, EMEA, and APAC. Precision Time sources time from redundant GNSS (GPS) receivers with antennas strategically located within the Equinix IBX infrastructure. The time source servers distribute accurate time over Equinix Fabric, our high-performance network backbone.

Network Edge (NE) is a platform that allows customers to deploy and run virtual network services and appliances, such as routers, load balancers, and firewalls, on a generic device instead of dedicated hardware.

Offers an industry-accepted way to document what security controls exist in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services. It provides a set of Yes/No/NA questions and space to justify the response a cloud consumer and cloud auditor may wish to ask of a cloud provider to ascertain their compliance to the Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM).
Organizations who have the CSA STAR Enabled Solution trustmark have leveraged or incorporated the CCM framework or CAIQ into their commercial offerings, and who demonstrate alignment with CSA STAR, CCM, and CAIQ best practices.
