Managed and Hosted Private Cloud

Managed and Hosted Private Cloud

TELUS Digital’s Hosted Private Cloud enables mid-market and enterprise customers to reap the benefits of cloud, with the performance and enhanced security of a dedicated environment. Customers are offered fully integrated, automated and orchestrated managed infrastructure service. Leveraging dedicated blades and shared data centre infrastructure, the private cloud services strike the right balance between security, performance, and value. With the Host Private Cloud deployed in Kamloops and Rimouski (Quebec) IDCs, customers can choose to consume service across one or multiple IDCs. Two management options are offered based on the customer’s application requirements and business needs. They are called Managed Hosted Private Cloud and Hosted Private Cloud.

Hosted Private Cloud, also referred to as Managed Platform, is the option in which TELUS Digital provides and manages all hardware, virtualization software, access interface and automation workflows. TELUS Digital is responsible for managing the infrastructure up to and including the Hypervisor.

Managed Hosted Private Cloud is the option in which TELUS Digital also manages the virtual machines including the operating system on behalf of the customers.

Customers of both management options can also subscribe to other TELUS Digital services including, but not limited to, Database Assurance, Managed Detection and Response, and professional consulting.
