Vivek Kundra was appointed as the United States Chief Information Officer by President Obama in March 2009. Prior to joining the Obama administration, Kundra served in Mayor Fenty's cabinet as the CTO for the District of Columbia and Governor Kaine’s cabinet as Assistant Secretary of Commerce and Technology for the Commonwealth of Virginia. He has also served in leadership roles in the private sector.

Kundra has been recognized as the 2009 Chief of the Year by InformationWeek for driving unprecedented change in Federal IT and as the 2008 IT Executive of the Year for his pioneering work to drive transparency, engage citizens and lower the cost of government operations. He has also been recognized by InfoWorld among the top 25 CTO's in the country.

Philippe Courtot, CEO, Qualys
Demonstrating a unique mix of technical vision, marketing and business acumen, Philippe Courtot has repeatedly built innovative companies into industry leaders. As CEO of Qualys, Philippe has worked with thousands of companies to improve their network security. Philippe received the SC Magazine Editor's Award for bringing on demand technology to the network security industry and for co-founding the CSO Interchange to provide a forum for sharing information in the security industry.

Dave Asprey, VP Cloud Security, Trend Micro
As Vice President of Cloud Security, Dave Asprey is responsible for thought leadership and technology evangelism for Trend Micro's cloud computing and virtualization businesses. Dave joined Trend Micro after a spending most of 2010 as an Entrepreneur in Residence at venture capital firm Trinity Ventures, co-founding a cloud startup, and selling a web-based virtual desktop startup. He was previously VP of Technology and VP of Business & Corporate Development at Blue Coat Systems. He spent 2 years as VP Technology & Marketing at cloud networking vendor Zeus Technologies. Earlier, he ran strategic planning for Citrix's Virtualization Business Unit and began his career in the cloud as a co-founder of the professional services group at Exodus Communications, then as Sr. Director of Product Management at Speedera, now part of Akamai. Dave also ran the Web & Internet Systems Engineering Program for UC Santa Cruz for 5 years.

Dave created and launched two early cloud computing service offerings, and his writing on the cloud has been published by the New York Times, GigaOm, Fortune, and CNNmoney, and PriceWaterhouseCoopers published his book-length piece on systems management. He is a sought-after speaker and panel moderator.

Ken Biery, Professional Services Manager, Security Consulting, Verizon Business
Ken Biery, a 29-year veteran in the security industry, is responsible for providing governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) solutions to Verizon Business’ customers, with specializations in PCI, ISO 27001/2, NERC-CIP, and HITRUST. Ken is also part of Verizon’s virtual environment security team and represents the company to the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA). He has helped build security teams and programs for customers in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, retail and government sectors.

Scott Chasin, Chief Technology Officer, Content & Cloud Business, McAfee
CTO Scott Chasin is widely recognized as a pioneer and leading visionary in the cloud security industry, having pioneered the development and marketing of several SaaS-based messaging, collaboration and security-focused technologies. Chasin is credited with the launch of the first Web-based email consumer service, and he delivered the first IP-based commercially hosted messaging service supporting thousands of businesses and millions of end users worldwide. He also created and moderated the first full-disclosure security discussion list, Bugtraq, and was a key contributor to the creation of the first open-source, one-time password system, S/Key.

Eran Feigenbaum, Director of Security, Google Apps, Google
As the Director of Security for Google Apps, Eran defines and implements security strategy for Google Apps, a suite of messaging and collaboration solutions. Prior to joining Google in 2007, Eran was the US Chief Information Security Officer for PricewaterhouseCoopers(PwC). At PwC, he led a team responsible for all aspects of network, server, application, and desktop computer security, as well as security policies, architectures, standards and enforcement. Earlier, Eran spent several years designing and implementing high-performance cryptosystems for electronic commerce solutions for Fortune 1000 clients and government agencies.

Pamela Fusco, Vice President Industry Solutions, Solutionary
Pamela Fusco brings over 23 years of global Information Security and Risk Management expertise to her role as VP of Industry Solutions for Solutionary. Pamela's prestigious background includes experience as a Chief Security Strategist and Chief Security Officer for Merck & Co., Inc., Digex Inc, MCI Security Solutions and Executive Vice President, Global Information Security at Citigroup, and Presidential White House Special Operations Staff. Patrick Harding, Chief Technology Officer, Ping Identity
Harding brings more than 20 years of experience in software development, networking infrastructure and information security to the role of Chief Technology Office for Ping Identity. Harding is responsible for Ping Identity’s technology strategy. Previously, Harding was a vice president and security architect at Fidelity Investments where he was responsible for aligning identity management and security technologies with the strategic goals of the business. Harding was integrally involved with the implementation of federated identity technologies at Fidelity -- from “napkin" to production. An active leader in the Identity Security space, Harding is a Founding Board Member for the Information Card Foundation, a member of the Cloud Security Alliance Board of Advisors, on the steering committee for OASIS and actively involved in the Kantara Initiative and Project Concordia.

Bret Hartman, CTO RSA Security
As Chief Technology Officer at RSA, the Security Division of EMC, Bret Hartman is responsible for defining the corporate security technology strategy for EMC, as implemented by the RSA division. Prior to RSA, Mr. Hartman was Chief Technology Officer, Information Security, at EMC Corporation.

For the last 9 years Liam has been working in e-commerce starting as the Chief Security Architect for the world’s largest e-commerce company, eBay. Tim Mather, Author, Cloud Security & Privacy
Tim Mather is currently pursing a graduate degree in information assurance full-time. Most recently, he was the Chief Security Strategist for RSA, responsible for keeping ahead of security industry trends, technology, and threats. Prior to that, he was V.P. of Technology Strategy in Symantec’s Office of the Chief Technology Officer, responsible for coordinating the company’s long-term technical and intellectual property strategy. Previously at Symantec, he served for seven years as Chief Information Security Officer.

Bill Pennington, Chief Strategy Officer, WhiteHat Security
Mr. Pennington joined WhiteHat Security, Inc. in November 2002. He has 14 years of professional experience in information security and 20 in information technology. His duties at WhiteHat include management of research and development, guidance of product and technology direction, and developing business partnerships. Mr. Pennington has performed website assessments for over 12 years in a variety of industry verticals including financial services, e-commerce, and biotechnology.
